Introduction to kiteboarding:    This class is for those who have never flown a stunt or multi line kite.

Here, you'll learn about kiting as a sport. You'll learn about the gear, the basic of how to fly a power kite. We'll discuss the sport in general, it's costs, equipment requirements, learning curve, safety, etc..  $100

Kite skills:

after gaining some proficiency with a trainer this is the next step.

No matter where you kite(snow, water, land), KITE SKILLS are the same. This where you  will  learn how to execute the skills you'll need to become a kiteboarder! Like, how to pick a safe kite area, how to pick your equipment, how to rig, launch, fly, relaunch after  crash,Self rescue, etc..KITE SKILLS transfer easily from the land to the water or the snow!    $170

Safety is important factor here.

water lesson:

This class is for those who have already demonstrated the ability to execute certain KITE SKILLS. A WATER LESSON is entering the water and performing the skills learned in the KITE SKILLS class. Then, we'll add a kiteboard. Here, we're learning how to handle the kiteboard and the kite at the same time. How to body drag to retrieve your board. Mounting your board and getting up to ride. Edging skills are necessary here. Those who have some experience with snowboarding, wakeboarding, surfing or skateboarding, will find this crossover easier.   $265

THIS  SPORT IS ALL ABOUT KITE FLYING SKILLS.

Our goal here is to promote safety and to have fun! You will  fly several different kites, during this  hour + lesson. You'll begin your lesson on a Trainer kite.

Here you'll learn about the wind window and how to engage the power of these kite. The power that the kite delivers is exciting.

We won't be getting wet till the water lesson....

After just one lesson, you'll be able to imagine the cross over possibilities! skateboarding WITH A KITE, surfing WITH A KITE,snowboards....skis... And let's not forget kite surfing in the water!
The power of these kites is sure to turn your adrenaline brown

In INTRODUCTION TO KITE BOARDING, you'll get a sense of the power of these kites.

You’ll learn on new equipment and

the student to instructor ratio will never exceed 3 to 1.

TRAINING KITES ARE DESIGNED NOT TO HAVE AS MUCH POWER AS A STANDARD KITE.

YOU CAN LEARN TO FLY IT SAFELY WITHOUT HURTING YOURSELF OR ANYONE ELSE!!!! COMMON SENSE SHOULD ALWAYS PREVAIL...

 Time spent on a trainer will  translate into improving your kiting skills more quickly.

Our kite skills class introduces the student to a larger, more powerful, 4 line kite. In addition, there are discussion and demonstration of the proper use and handling of the kite and it's necessary accessories. How to choose your equipment, etc......

You'll learn how to select and rig a kite. How to select and fully utilize the safety and emergency  systems.

Choosing a location. launch and landing a big kite.

This class will allow you to be prepared to add a board...........

     

                

                        WATER CLASSES

Time: 3:00 pm  aprox. 2-3 hours  

 LOCATION: Longbeach Park Stratford, Ct.

Here, you need good KITE SKILLS,

Learning how to kitesurf is all about combining two different skills.

Kiting!

boarding/edging skills.

 Being able to keep your kite aloft and full of power  is a MUST before adding another skill set!

You and your instructor will go where the wind is.

We'll be getting wet in this lesson...

Into the water we'll go! Kite and Board in Hand

We supply all the gear you'll need for this class(except booties and wetsuits)

                                     

BTW- all of these beauties are now ripping!!

You'll learn  basic skills of kitesurfing.  Skills that you need to know to be independent!You'll learn to choose your equipment properly and lots of tips to keep you safer.
