              INTRODUCTION TO KITE BOARDING

    .....THIS IS WHERE EVERYONE NEEDS TO BEGIN.....

         SAFETY AND HAVING FUN ARE MOST IMPORTANT

THIS  SPORT IS ALL ABOUT KITE FLYING SKILLS.
 

Our goal here is to promote safety and to have fun! You will  fly several different kites, during this 2+ hour lesson. You'll begin your lesson on a Trainer kite.

Here you'll learn about the wind window and how to engage the power of these kite. The power that the kite delivers is exciting.

After just one lesson, you'll be able to imagine the cross over possibilities! skateboarding WITH A KITE, surfing WITH A KITE,snowboards....skis... And let's not forget kite surfing in the water!

In INTRODUCTION TO KITE BOARDING, you'll get a sense of the power of these kites.

You’ll learn on new equipment and

the student to instructor ratio will never exceed 3 to 1.

INTRODUCTION TO KITE BOARDING is all about learning progressive skills that you will need to learn how to fly a POWER KITE!

You'll learn about safety: How to choose the proper kiting equipment suited for you: Where and where NOT to kite:

You'll work up a sweat for sure!

YOUR FIRST SEVERAL HOURS WILL BE USING A TRAINING KITE.

MOST KITERS OWN ONE!  WE'RE  ALWAYS WORKING ON KITING SKILLS!

THEY'RE ALSO GREAT FOR TEACHING YOUR KIDS AND FRIENDS!!!!!!!

TRAINING KITES ARE DESIGNED NOT TO HAVE AS MUCH POWER AS A STANDARD KITE.

YOU CAN LEARN TO FLY IT SAFELY WITHOUT HURTING YOURSELF OR ANYONE ELSE!!!! COMMON SENSE SHOULD ALWAYS PREVAIL...

 Time spent on a trainer will  translate into improving your kiting skills more quickly.
 
IT'LL BE HANDY FOR A SKATEBOARD OR A SNOWBOARD.

WITH 5+ HOURS ON A TRAINER, YOU'LL GET A LOT OUT OF THIS CLASS(good trainer skills are necessary for this class)

Learning how to kitesurf is all about combining two different skiils.

Kite  and boarding/edging skills.

This lesson is directed towards the necessary kite skills. Being about to keep your kite aloft and full of power  is a MUST before adding another skill set!

You and your instructor will go where the wind is.

We'll be getting wet in this lesson...

After a comprehensive discussion of Safety, kites and related gear, more safety, rigging, launching, relaunching, flying technique, self rescue body dragging........Into the water we'll go!

We supply all the gear you'll need for this class(except booties and wetsuits)

BTW- all of these beauties are now ripping!!

You'll learn  basic skills of kitesurfing.  Skills that you need to know to be independent!You'll learn to choose your equipment properly and lots of tips to keep you safer.
