The clinics are designed to help you fast track your learning curve and to make you a safer kiter.
These trips are totally inclusive. we provide housing, food, gear, lessons by certified instructors. You bring the energy and willingness to improve.

You arrive on Saturday Afternoon at the KITEWISE kite house.
Avon North Carolina, in the Outer Banks, is the East Coast Mecca for Kite boarding, windsurfing & surfing
LESSONS
For the beginner or novice kiter.
Immersed with other kiters, the lessons learned this week are not just on the water. The new information passed along to you, on and off the water, is worth more than you could possibly pay!
Our Certified Instructors will give everyone a basic safety Class.
For the newbees, we'll Start with Training kites and increase the size of kites allowing you to become more comfortable with the new found power.
We'll add skills progressively! At your speed!!!
Learn something basic. move on and add new skills!
Our chase jet ski make it more comfortable for the newer kiter!
If you are a newer kiter, not yet staying upwind..... you need to be here....
You'll advance your kiting by several seasons.
If you are more experienced and want to learn tricks.... this is the place..... warm, flat, shallow water..
HOUSING:
The KITEWISE KITE HOUSE will be supplied with lots of food (buy your own beer/wine/soda/water).
Tub to brag about the best crash. or the best newly learned skill. We're kitesurfers. We're stoked for anyone at any level!
After a hearty Dinner, maybe some kiteboarding Videos, more kiting talk,some of us will call it an early night...As soon as there's enough wind, we'll do it all again. Maybe we'll do a down winder.
AFTER BREAKFAST!!!
NO wind days ........ There will be a few......Maybe even too much wind.....That's the perfect opportunity to watch the pro's strut their stuff.. Or we can work on board skills by doing some wakeboarding..
Maybe try surfing? You can explore or surf or fish or maybe just enjoy the weather and take a nap on the beach.
WEATHER GUARANTY
Contrary to what some think, we actually have no special contacts who can control the wind.
We have picked a location and a time when the odds of having good reliable winds is good. Lessons will be conducted in a safe manner. No lessons when there's not enough wind or if the wind velocity is too high or unsafe. No wining is allowed!!!! We do not charge extra for more wind days... and,There will be no refunds for non kiting days!!!

Cape Hatteras Makes it own Weather!
It's a string of Barrier Islands that extends some 60+ miles into the Atlantic.
The Gulf Stream to the East and the Mountains of North Carolina to the west work together to provide lots of weather excitement.
The water temperature in October should be in the 70's , making a spring shorty or a 3/2 full wetsuit, very comfortable. While the bottom is quite sandy, we recommend booties be worn at all times..
The water is very shallow for 60 miles. Almost NEVER more than 5' deep. Perfect for learning your new skills. Much safer and think of the energy you'll save!

Students will have the full use of the Equipment during lessons and free kiting time!
The week is $1500 for everything! Food... Housing.... Lessons... Equipment use(except wetsuit)....friendship...

To qualify for this rate, you must be a self sufficient kiter. You don't need gear, you don't need rescue or board pickup.
