There are special considerations for the snow kiter.
Only an idiot would think of kiting on land or snow without a helmet. Don't be an idiot! When kiting in a snow covered area,
extra care must be taken to avoid tree stumps, fence posts, hidden rocks, power lines, trees, etc..

TAKE SOME EXTRA CARE..
If you are kiting on a frozen lake, even more care must be taken.
You must assure yourself that there is sufficient ice thickness.
Anything less than 4 inches thick should be avoided! You MUST walk the entire area first. Others on the ice is no assurance that it's ok.
You can't fix stupid! Going thru the ice is NOT something you want to do. Ice that is clear is usually more sound than ice with lots of air bubbles. Thin ice around the edges of the body of water is bad. go home!
If you've got skiing or snowboarding skills already then you should be ripping along quickly.
This is where owning a trainer kite comes in very handy.
Generally, only one lesson is necessary......
After checking on our lessons packages.
We will resume snow kiting lessons after there is a good snow base.
