A week in Cape Hatteras is just the ticket.
About 500 miles South of New York City (10 Hr drive)
You arrive on Saturday Afternoon at the KITEWISE kite house.
Avon North Carolina, in the Outer Banks is the East Coast Mecca for Kiteboarding, windsurfing & surfing 
LESSONS
First thing-
Our knowledgeable Certified Instructors will give a basic safety Class. We'll Start with Training kites and we'll slowly increase the size of kites allowing you to become more comfortable with the new found power.
We'll add skills progressively! At your speed!!!
Learn something basic. move on and add new skills!
Communications helmets and our chase jet ski make it ohhhhh so easy!
It will be our objective to give you several hours of lessons/coaching daily, during the course of the week.
Evenings and no wind times will be filled with kiting advice and information.
After lessons we'll kite. We'll work on new skills.
Then we'll kite some more!

HOUSING:
The KITEWISE KITE HOUSE will be supplied with lots of food (buy your own beer).
After your sunset session it'll be a rush to the Hot Tub to brag about the best crash. or the best newly learned skill. We're kiteboarders. We're stoked for anyone at any level!
After a hearty Dinner where we've all added our ideas and effort, kiteboarding Videos, more kiting talk.
Tomorrow, as soon as there's enough wind, we'll do it all again. Maybe we'll do a down winder.
NO wind days you can explore or surf or fish or maybe just enjoy the weather and take a nap on the beach. Who knows what you'll find!
Contrary to what some think, we actually have no special contacts who can control the weather and wind for us! We have, however, scheduled our clinics in locations that provide that highest reliable odds have having acceptable wind.
WEATHER
Cape Hatteras Makes it own Weather!
It's a string of Barrier Islands that extends some 60+ miles.
The Gulf Stream to the East and the Mountains of North Carolina to the west work together to provide lots of weather excitement.
The water temperature in September will be in the 70's; and the air even warmer, making a spring shorty very comfortable.
The water is very shallow for 60 miles. Almost Almost NEVER more than 5' deep. That's perfect for learning your new skills. So much more safe and think of the energy you'll save!
EQUIPMENT.
We represent both BEST & ECLIPSE kites & Kiteboards.
You will have the full use of the Equipment during lessons.
The week is $1400 for everything! Food... Housing.... Lessons... Equipment....friendship...

Just get yourself there and back(if you ever want to leave). You only need to bring clothes, sunblock, hats, laptops for wireless internet and cameras to record this fantastic week.
If you're serious about wanting to get better, you need to work at it! Most would not call this work!
